Annual Gala
LIA Annual Awards Gala - May 20, 2011
The LIA Annual Awards Gala is Long Island’s largest and most prestigious business and social evening. This formal black-tie dinner dance honors corporate leaders and companies that have made Long Island a better place to live and work. The evening includes a lavish cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, entertainment, and high-end raffles. Sponsorship of this event positions your company in front of an influential and important audience of business leaders.
- Audience Reach More than 1,000 people, representing a “Who’s Who” of this region’s business, labor, academic and political leaders come together to celebrate prominent Long Islanders who make a difference and enjoy a great evening.
- Previous Honorees At the Annual Awards Gala, the LIA annually presents a Medal of Honor and the Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award for Community Service. In some years, the LIA also presents a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Annual Meeting Luncheon
The Annual Meeting Luncheons are LIA’s flagship events showcasing nationally renowned speakers, providing insights into local, national, and world events. For businesses large and small, these luncheons also provide the perfect venue to network, entertain clients, and gain brand exposure in front of a large distinguished audience. 
ON FEBRUARY 26, 2010 for the first time ever, two presidents, a father and a son took the stage together in an exclusive Long Island appearance.

Annual Meeting & Luncheon Held in January or February this event begins with a 9:30 a.m. General
Membership Meeting that features an Annual Address by LIA President Kevin S. Law. Each year, this event formally introduces the new members of the Board of Directors and future goals of the organization. The Luncheon includes an 11:00 a.m. Cocktail Reception followed by the official luncheon from noon to 2:00 p.m.
