Day 1: Overnight Flight to Ireland Welcome as you join Chamber Explorations to experience Ireland. Today board your overnight flight bound for the emerald isle.
Day 2: Arrive Dublin Arrive in Dublin, the Irish Capital and meet your Tour Director. This afternoon check into the Clontarf Castle for a unique overnight experience in one of Dublin's top castle hotels. Set in an 11th-century castle the Clontarf Hotel combines ancient architecture with 21st-century facilities. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the castle. Meal - (D) Overnight - Clontarf Castle
Day 3: Dublin - Glendalough - Limerick Today drive through the Glendalough Valley located in the Wicklow Mountains National Park to visit the world renowned Glendalough Monastic Site with Round Tower. Here we tour the ruins of St. Kevin's monastry, a center of Irish Celtic Christianity. Then continue onto Limerick for a two-night stay. The Limerick of today is a busy, bustling city and the commercial capital of the mid-west of Ireland - the poor, dreary, rain-sodden town, which Frank McCourt so memorably evokes in "Angela's Ashes" is no more. Tonight experience a Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet. This 15 century castle was once the splendid home of noble medieval lords, today they are the imposing venues for nights of revelry, Irish music, song and dance accompanied by traditional home cooked food with wines. Day 4: Limerick - Cliffs of Moher - Galway Today travel to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. View the mighty Atlantic and the beautiful Aran Islands from atop cliffs that reach nearly 700 feet into the air. Travel through the Burren, an area known for limestone natural beauty. Later enjoy a Galway City Tour featuring St. Nicholas Cathedral and Eyre Square. Galway, "The City of Tribes" is a vibrant city with a great seafaring tradition. Meal - (B) Overnight - Limerick
Day 5: Limerick - Adare - Killarney (B,D) This morning enjoy a Limerick City Tour to see the attractive St. Mary's Cathedral, King John's Castle and the Treaty Stone, located in the medieval heritage precinct. Next stop in Adare, widely regarded as being Ireland's prettiest and most picturesque village. Experience its rich wealth of heritage, as well as architectural and scenic beauty. See the world famous, thatched cottages on Main Street, punctuated with beautiful stone buildings, medieval monasteries and ruins. Later arrive in the charming & picturesque town of Killarney for a two night stay. Upon arrival embark on a Jaunting Car Ride into the Killarney National Park. Next tour the spectacular Muckross House & Gardens to gain insight into the life-style of the Victorian elite. Tonight join your fellow travelers for dinner. Meals - (B,D) Overnight - Killarney
Day 6: Killarney - Ring of Kerry - Killarney (B) Today travel along one of the most gorgeous coastal routes in the world - the Ring of Kerry. Focus your cameras on the majestic seascapes, ancient drystone walls, mountains speckled with brightly colored farm houses and winding lanes bordered with luscious vegetation. On the way home we pass through the rugged mountains and stop at Ladies View, name from the admiration of the wonderful vistas of the Lakes of Killarney given by Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting during their 1861 visit. Day 7: Killarney - Blarney - Kilkenny – Dublin (B) This morning travel through the mountains of West Cork and arrive at the historic Blarney Castle. Will you dare to kiss the famous Blarney Stone, rumored to bestow eloquence "the gift of the gab" upon those who kiss its surface? Visit the Blarney Woolen Mills, Ireland's leading producer of Aran Sweaters, to wander the displays of Irish crafts. Later visit Kilkenny featuring Ireland's most historic and compact medieval city center. Later arrive in Dublin for a two-night stay. Welcome to Dublin with its mix of urban cool, lush parkland, and hip designer boutiques, Dublin pulsates with energy while still retaining a warm, laidback atmosphere. One of Europe's most thrilling capitals, it offers all you could want with history, culture and more pubs than you'll know what to do with. As a UNESCO city of Literature, you can immerse yourself in Dublin's rich literary traditions. Follow in the footsteps of James Joyce or even take in a legendary Irish pub crawl. It's all yours. Day 8: Dublin Today enjoy a Dublin City Tour to see Grafton Street, statue lined O'Connell Street, the General Post Office & Phoenix Park. Visit the famous St. Patrick's Cathedral & stop at Trinity College to see the 1,200 year-old Book of Kells. Later tour the Old Jameson Whiskey Distillery featuring a recreated distillery scene and a generous sample of the famous Irish Whiskey. Tonight join your fellow travelers for a fun filled Farewell Dinner. Meals - (B,D) Overnight - Dublin
Day 9: Dublin - Flight Home Fly home filled with wonderful memories of your Treasures of Ireland Tour. Meal - (B)
