Long Island’s MacArthur Airport (LIMA) Aviation Commissioner Teresa Rizzuto discussed LIMA’s first-ever, brand-based marketing campaign and described how businesses can apply the same core brand-building principles to attract and build customer loyalty at a Long Island Association (LIA) Lunch & Learn program held on September 23 at LIMA in Ronkonkoma.
The commissioner gave a “sneak peek” of LIMA’s campaign. “In an age of enormous customer choice and growing clutter in the marketplace, a great brand is not a luxury – it’s a necessity. A recent survey found that nearly 85 percent of the travelers who use LIMA demonstrate strong brand loyalty to the airport,” said Rizzutto.
As the Town of Islip’s Commissioner of Aviation, Rizzuto not only manages day-to-day operations, but guides the growth and development of the airport as a critical transportation hub serving more than 3.1 million residents of Nassau and Suffolk.
