Business Before Hours
Business Before Hours are quarterly, business card exchange networking events held from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the LIA headquarters in Melville. All member-participants are invited to display materials on tables as provided for a minimal fee. Business Breakfasts
Business Breakfasts are networking events with programs that feature prominent business leaders and elected officials discussing relevant issues within an environment conducive to open dialog. Past speakers have included the Long Island Congressional Delegation, State and Local Commissioners, Nassau & Suffolk District Attorneys, and panels of industry experts who provide practical business advise. CEO Roundtable
Quarterly dinners with the CEOs, Chairman, Managing Partners, etc., of LIA member companies and hosted by LIA President, Kevin S. Law, CEO Roundtables Dinners are held at Long Island’s prominent restaurants and are entirely informal, generally there is no agenda, and they are intended simply to allow Long Island’s business leaders to get better acquainted. Executive Breakfasts
Executive Breakfasts are networking events with programs that feature prominent business leaders/elected officials speaking about timely and important issues. The programs conclude with a Q&A format. Past speakers have included: Senators Hillary Clinton & Charles Schumer, Nassau & Suffolk County Executives Tom Suozzi and Steve Levy, Oracle Chairman, Jeff Henley, the Annual Small Business Awards Program, and many more. Leadership Circle Breakfasts
Leadership Circle Breakfast is a bi-monthly opportunity for company executives to network while discussing pertinent issues affecting their business. LIA President, Kevin S. Special Events
The Annual Albany Opening Day Event is a unique opportunity to meet and discuss specific issues with your Town, County and State elected officials following the Governor’s annual “State of the State” address held in Albany. Tradeshow
The LIA's annual Business Expo provides business-to-business networking opportunities for members and non-members alike. Held at the Crest Hollow Country Club, the Expo combines a breakfast event featuring a prominent keynote speaker followed by a morning expo that is open to the public. Previous Expos have included U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton; Loews Hotels Chairman & CEO, Jonathan Tisch; New York State Governor Eliot Spitzer; Oracle Corporation Chairman, Jeff Henley; and others. Turbo Networking
Fast, fun and very productive, LIA Turbo Networking events are held at member locations across Long Island and are frequently held in partnership with local chambers and business organizations. LIA members and non-members participate in facilitated, round-table introductions to maximize time and potential to meet qualified leads and build business connections. Converse with a minimum of 20 guests and enjoy open networking immediately following the program.
Turbo Networking is all about helping businesses connect and further their business relationships in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You prepare your "elevator speech" and well provide your "dance card" to proceed through a series of networking rotations. Facilitators at each table will help foster opportunities for every participant.
Advance registration is required and events can sell-out. Registration is limited to one representative per company and 10% representation per industry sector.
