LI Business Community Attends LIA Annual Meeting with Sarah Palin

The Long Island Association Annual Meeting & Luncheon took place on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury where attendees heard keynote speaker Sarah Palin at her first ever appearance before the LI business community. The luncheon featured a lively discussion between Palin and LIA President Kevin Law where they discussed her potential presidential aspirations, her drop in approval ratings, use of social media, views on new gun-control laws, her criticisms on Obama's health care bill and the recent crisis in Egypt.

As for the question everyone wanted to know – will she be running for president in 2012? The former vice presidential Republican nominee did not have a definitive answer and said that she has still not made up her mind as of yet on whether or not she will run, but went on to say, "No one is more qualified, really to multitasking and the things you need to do as a president than a woman, a mom." The event drew local, national and international media attention.
