LIA's Fall Luncheon Sparks Media Attention
Following the success of the Long Island Association's Fall Luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club, the LIA has received a great deal of media attention. Giuliani's announcement that he will not be running in 2012 was a major attraction, as well as Torre's clearing of the air that he will not be managing the Boston Red Sox, and both their views on the latest federal recommendation of prostate cancer screening.
Also in the news - Arrow Electronics HQ relocation to Colorado, the welfare surge on Long Island, and the LI Regional Economic Development Council's East End public forum.
