The Long Island Regional Economic Development Council Wins 1 of 4 "Best Plan Awardees"
It's been a busy week for the Long Island Association. The Long Island Regional Economic Development Council, co-chaired by Kevin Law and Stuart Rabinowitz, won one of four "Best Plan Awardees" and an impressive $101.6 million in state funding, Kevin has been chosen by Suffolk County Executive-elect Steve Bellone to lead the national search to find a new police commissioner for Suffolk County, the reduction of the MTA Payroll Tax, and the Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange Marshall N. Carter spoke at an LIA Executive Breakfast about the present state and future of the U.S. economy.
