EX-IM Exporter Forum Held at LIA Headquarters
LIA President & CEO Kevin Law, Chairman and President of the Ex-Im Bank Fred P. Hochberg, and Congressman Steve Israel lead a forum on small-business exporting at the LIA headquarters Monday, June 04, 2012. The Ex-Im Bank is an independent federal agency that provides export financing, including loans, loan guarantees, and insurance against a foreign buyer''s failure to pay as well as credit and financing for buyers. Along with a panel of industry and government experts, the forum educated local small businesses about export opportunities, accessing vital working capital, and how to find new markets and customers.
