Statement from Long Island Association President & CEO Kevin Law on President Obama's Proposal to Let Bush-Era Tax Cuts Expire for Middle Class Long Island Families

"President Obama's proposal for a one year extension of the Bush tax cuts for people making less than $250,000 fails to take into consideration high cost regions like Long Island and would result in a tax increase for numerous Long Island middle class families and small businesses and thus the tax cuts should be extended to all individuals and small businesses in order to help the struggling economy."
