New York State Senator Kemp Hannon Addresses LIA Committee
On Thursday, August 2nd, New York State Senator Kemp Hannon, who is Chairman of the Senate Health Committee and an expert in health care issues, headlined a meeting of the LIA's Health, Education and Not-For-Profit Committee. He discussed the implications of the Supreme Court decision that upheld the federal Affordable Care Act, the impact on New York State, and the creation of a state health insurance exchange.
