Committees - Tax Policy

Reducing the cost of doing business on Long Island is the most important issue facing the committee. Through a thorough review of tax and spending policies on the federal, state and local levels, the committee prepares position papers for the LIA on a wide-range of issues, including the continuation of the real property tax, consolidation of school districts and state spending policies.
