    Long Island Association Appoints New Members to Board of Directors
     
    The Long Island Association elected four new members to the Board of Directors, who represent businesses and academic institutions that contribute to the success of Long Island’s economy. The new Board members include:

    • Dr. Susan Poser, President of Hofstra University
    • Lucy Guilherme, Chief Financial Officer of Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc.
    • Dawn Harmon, Area Asset Manager for Long Island for Covanta
    • Dr. Donald Boomgaarden, President of St. Joseph’s College

    “The Long Island Association is honored to have these four leaders join our Board of Directors. They will help the LIA carry out its mission to support economic development, create jobs and improve the business climate in our region,” said Lawrence Waldman, Chairman of the Long Island Association.
